I wanted to further develop my programming skills as well as to gain some industry experience and insight which could be shared in the classroom.

I realised opportunities like this don't arise too often. I wanted to experience an office based internship revolving around STEM.

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm from Navan, in County Meath.  I am currently studying a part-time Master's Degree in Digital Learning from DCU's Institute of Education. I am also currently working as a primary school teacher.

I gained insight into the STEM industry, new skills and new interests during my last internship and I am looking forward to building further on these this summer.

All teachers should get to experience the subjects they teach from an industry perspective.

Hi, my name is Ross and I'm from County Mayo. I recently completed my Bachelors in Materials & Engineering Technology (Education) in the University of Limerick.

I wanted to gain experience working in STEM outside the classroom to see how STEM subjects are applied in the real working world.

I wanted to get hands-on experience and insight into the STEM industry to be able to share with my students and hopefully inspire them to pursue STEM careers.

I believe it will be beneficial for my personal development as an educator, allow me to make contacts that could enhance students' education.
