Hi! I'm Orlaith from Castlebar, County Mayo. I have recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Science Education in Dublin City University.
I wanted the opportunity to experience another new environment which would inform my teaching.
This programme seemed like the ideal opportunity to learn more about the different STEM careers that are available for my future students.
I really believe that it will benefit my effectiveness as a teacher in promoting STEM subjects and their importance.
I have learned new skills which will be easily transferable back into my classroom.
I thought this was a great opportunity for me to gain real world STEM experiences.
Hi, I’m Victoria! I've just completed the Professional Masters in Education at DCU and I'm now qualified to teach Mathematics and Economics.
I really wanted to explore the industry side of my STEM subjects.
I felt it was important I gained experience within a STEM environment that was outside of the classroom.
I felt it was an amazing opportunity to expand and develop my knowledge and gain experience using STEM skills outside of the classroom.
I thought it would be a worthwhile and interesting way to develop both practical skills and knowledge away from my own area of expertise.
Hi, my name is Jessica and I’m from Wexford. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education in Primary Teacher Education at Dublin City University.
