Tell us about yourself
Hi, my name is Jessica and I’m from Wexford. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education in Primary Teacher Education at Dublin City University. My subject specialism is Digital Learning.
I applied to the STInt Programme...

To gain new skills and experiences outside the classroom. I am also hoping to improve my teaching as well as broaden my perspective on jobs available in my sector.

Tell us about your STInt in Industry

During my time in Microsoft I worked on the Advanced Cloud Engineering team as a Product Manager Intern. I was able to work on projects such as creating a resources page for an accessibility app and participate in a Fix Hack Learn where my project of creating an onboarding experience game in Minecraft Education Edition won the prize of most creative project. I was also able to spend time working with groups of students in DreamSpace and testing new technology in the Garage. I had an engaging and insightful experience working in Microsoft this summer and look forward to bringing all that I have learned into the classroom.
