My name is Maria Reilly. I am a final year Physical Education and Biology student at Dublin City University. I have a keen interest in science and technology and in particular biology discovering the physiology of the body and how this contributes to athletic performance.

I have chosen to apply for this internship as I believe it will only further enhance my knowledge and experience in science and technology. Upon completion of my teaching school placement I have identified areas in Science Technology that I would like to further enhance. By utilising my summer months off, I believe this exposure to science and technology will improve my ability to inspire my students in the area by having in dept knowledge in the area.
