STEM Teacher Intern Role
We are looking for a person to join our Client Suitability Reporting Team. This team plays a key role in fulfilling Davy’s regulatory requirement in issuing advice to clients pre-investment. Every client, upon opening an account with Davy must receive a Client Suitability Report (CSR). It is a regulatory document that outlines Davy’s understanding of a client’s investment objectives. It sets out Davy’s recommended investment strategy, why it’s suitable for the client and provides indicative fees on an ex-ante basis. The CSR team is a small team of approximately 4 people whose responsibility is to produce CSR reports, ensure their accuracy and generate ex-ante fees for the chose investment strategy. The individual should have excellent attention to detail, enjoy teamwork, have a proficiently in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and have a flexible and positive attitude towards work.
Key skills and competencies include:
– strong information technology capability, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
– excellent analytical and quantitative skills
– programming proficiency (Python, Matlab, R) would be beneficial
– demonstrable interest in investments and financial markets
– strong communication and presentations skills, verbal and written
– high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The interns will be invited to attend training that takes place in Davy including Communication Skills, Excel and PowerPoint (to name a few). They will be provided with a company laptop and work from home equipment if required. Davy is a very social workplace, and they will be invited to any social or wellness events that take place during the course of the internship. They will also be entitled to access our company gym.
