I did not expect to create a project using coding and engineering circuit boards. I also did not expect to learn so much about Intel and become part of such a supportive team. I also did not expect for us to be working from home for the whole internship, so it was a bit of a challenge getting used to it. However, Intel ensured that we were still involved in the team as much as possible.
Our STInt interns are working on making coding approachable to kids. They are learning to code in several languages and applying these 21st century learning skills to their “MoviKids” Project. The MoviKids project is essentially a platform of communication with co-workers which aims to engage employees’ children in STEAM fun and learning activities. This is in direct response to the current macro environment with many employees being required to directly care for their children while simultaneously working from home.
