My name is Niamh Minton. I am a DCU BSc Science Education graduate. I am currently teaching in a co-educational post primary school in North County Dublin, teaching Mathematics and Science. By taking part in the STInt programme, I hope to bring real-world experience and opportunities to my students and inspire them to choose STEM fields of study.
I am applying for the STInt programme as I am extremely interested in AI in the classroom. As soon as I saw the the position at ADAPT, I knew I had to apply. I am a member of my schools Digital Strategy team and recently attended an ‘AI in the classroom’ CPD jousting on ChatGPT, it’s uses and limitations.
