Niall Mullally
My name is Niall Mullally and I am a 4th year BEd Primary Teaching student with a Specialism in Science Education. I have a great interest and passion for all areas of STEM and want to try and improve my understanding of how STEM works in the world around us. I hope to use this information to create an exciting and enhanced learning environment for students in my future classroom.
I am applying to the STEM Teacher Internship programme as I am eager to expand my knowledge of how STEM works in various industries around Ireland. I hope to use this information to create more context in my future teaching of STEM subjects in the primary classroom, and to create a more beneficial and engaging learning experience for my future students.
I also hope to expand on my own skillset by working in a setting that is different to that of a primary classroom and to gain experience working in an industrial environment in which I may not have many opportunities to do so in the future.
