My name is James Sweeney, and I am from Donegal. I am in my final year of my Bachelor of Science with Education degree at Maynooth University. My subject specialisms are Mathematics and Computer Science. I believe that this programme offers a great opportunity to learn new skills and to meet new people, as well as gain some industry experience which can be shared in the classroom.

I believe it is a great opportunity to gain experience in the STEM industry. As a Computer Science teacher I will be encouraging my students to find jobs in this sector. From this programme I will get to experience what it is like to work in this industry. It is also a great opportunity for me to expand my skill set and to meet people that have years of experience working in one of these big companies.
