Hi, I’m Deborah! I’m from Cavan and have been living in Dublin for college for the last few years. I am currently in 4th year studying Primary Teaching at DCU. My specialism subject and a subject I have always had a great love for is maths, which is also one of the main reasons this internship appealed to me. 

SSE has been an incredible experience. I have had the opportunity to get first hand experience of careers in the STEM world. I got invaluable knowledge which I will bring into the classroom including preparing children for careers that I didn’t know were a part of the STEM world until I undertook this experience. I also got the chance to develop my professional skills and learn how to work as a vital part of a team.
