Host Introduction

Takeda is a patient-focused, values-based, R&D-driven global biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing Better Health and a Brighter Future to people worldwide. Our passion and pursuit of potentially life-changing treatments for patients are deeply rooted in our distinguished history in Japan since 1781.

STEM Teacher Intern Role

The STInt Intern will be part of our Testing Self Directed work team in our new state of the art single use multi-product biotech facility. The overall responsibility will be to support the Quality Control testing function, ensuring compliance with cGMP and corporate regulations. This is a critical role within the Quality organisation to help establish the Laboratories as a hub for specialised analytical testing and create value for our patients.

The STInt Intern will have weekly 1:1 meetings in addition to more direct work with manager and will be included in broader meetings with various Self-Directed Work Teams (SDWT). They will also be included in functional meetings to gain a better understanding of a variety of roles. The STInt Intern will be asked for meaningful input into our ‘Dunboyne University’ Project charter (a learning and development initiative on site) through participation in evaluating learning effectiveness across the site.
