Who We Are:

  • We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.

STInt Intern Role Description 

The STInt Internship at PepsiCo is 12-week program designed for high potential undergraduate students, just like you, into real life business impact roles – with the goal to best prepare you for a successful future. We are now looking to hire for two interns within our Cork team, starting Summer 2025. Do you share our passion for collaboration, technology and learning?  If so, we could take your talents to a whole new level. 

The PepsiCo STInt role will be challenging and diverse. It will give the successful candidate exposure and experience across various project management, IT and R&D disciplines, as well as opportunities for interaction with Operations, suppliers, end-users and other third-party bodies. There will be opportunities to contribute and make a valued impact within the wider PepsiCo community also, through involvement in global programs and initiatives. Intern development and mentoring will be key focus areas.  The successful candidate will work with the PepsiCo Teams supporting its operational activities in Cork and in other PepsiCo/PGCS plants located in the North/South America and Asia. 

STInt Intern – Flavour Ingredient Scientist

Responsibilities:

  • Flavour development for cookies and snacks including troubleshooting, completing stability tests, designing systems at bench-scale and pilot scale.
  • Learn and support Analytical testing to support trouble-shooting issues.
  • Active part of a team across the various projects, both Sweet and Savoury ingredient concentrate and their application in relation to lab analysis.  

Other Duties Include:

  • Ensuring all instrumentation used in the testing is calibrated and are in a suitable for use. 
  • Maintain good lab practice to a high standard /maintain accurate records.  
  • Prepare lab notebooks.  
  • Contributing to safety assessments/risk assessments. 

The ideal STInt intern at PepsiCo will have the following criteria:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent people skills. 
  • Team player. 
  • Self-starter, self-sufficient and eager to learn. 
  • Interest in beverages/food industry. 
  • Good IT skills in Word & Excel.
