It has allowed me to gain knowledge on a bank of free STEM resources available for students to use to develop STEM skills. Confidence in recommending these resources to other teachers and explaining how to use them. Given a real life experience of how the skills and concepts explored in the DL specialism are used on a day to day basis and how I can use these skills and concepts in my own career and to develop these amongst my students.

This resource will support educators in developing a deep understanding of the different stages of a plant during its life cycle by using MakeCode Arcade.
The resources here will assist educators to:
- Revise previous learning of students regarding the life cycle of a plan
- Engage students in a new and creative way by gamifying the plant life cycle using MakeCode Arcade
- Assess students understanding of the content
This resource was developed based on the Irish primary school curriculum. However, the lifecycle of a plant is a common Science topic around the world. As such, educators on here can use these resources and adapt them where appropriate.
