Hello, I’m Alex and I’m from Kilkenny but have been living near Maynooth now for nearly 5 years. I graduated from Maynooth University with a degree in Science Education. My specialism subjects are Biology and Maths). I’m now finished my first year working in Maynooth Community College as a Maths and Science Teacher!

I really wanted to see what a job outside of teaching was like so I could convey this to my students who may be considering a position or a college degree in STEM but are not sure what the career opportunities are like.
