Hi, I'm Ellie! I am studying for my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Education at NUI Galway. My specialism subjects are Mathematics and Computer Science.

Hi, I'm Evelyn! I recently completed my Masters of Science in Mathematics and Science Education at University College Dublin and my subject specialisms are Biology and Mathematics.

I think that the future of STEM relies on the next generation of students and I as a teacher have the responsibility to prepare my students for this.

I am looking to expand my knowledge and experience in the area of STEM to promote my teaching career and ensure my students are being taught by a highly qualified science teacher.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and there are not many deaf students who are offered an internship. I want to broaden my experience in the STEM area as I believe that deaf and hard of hearing children will benefit from it.

The companies hosting interns in the STINT program would be the best place to experience technology in the world and to learn.

I have a huge interest in working for companies in technical or project roles and believe this experience of collaboration with real world companies would help me include more STEM activities in my teaching.

I welcome the opportunity to expand my current knowledge of industry and discover more about the application of science within our world.

I believe that improving my skills in technology can benefit me as I become an educator in the working world.

This programme showed me I could try something I had never thought of before.
