Intel is one of the largest semiconductor chip manufacturers globally. Intel has an extensive product portfolio that includes the design and manufacture of CPUs, VPUs (Vision Processing Units) and other devices related to communications and computing. The Movidius division is part of Intel’s Internet of Things Edge AI Group that specializes in Artificial Intelligence and Vision technology for edge applications. Movidius owns the development of Vision Processing Unit (VPU) Intellectual Property and VPU System on Chips. Movidius is currently a global leader in edge inference and their products include Myriad 2, Myriad X and Keem Bay. Since 1989, Intel has invested $15 billion in Ireland creating the most advanced industrial campus in Europe. STEM Teacher Intern Role

STInt Interns may join the MPE (Manufacturing & Product Engineering) in our Design Engineering Group (DEG). We’re a vibrant team who work to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing! This will be an immersive experience aimed at providing the STInt intern with a full overview of business operations in the DEG group! The STInt Intern can expect to be immersed within an Engineering team to develop and learn the technical and soft skills used within STEM and Engineering. Projects undertaken by the STInt Intern will aim to develop technical skills in areas like programming & engineering, with the support of the MPE team. 

STInt Interns may also join Intel Movidius and learn a broad range of business skills like team building, virtual collaboration, program management, organization communications & content creation and community engagement. This is an opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced and fun environment. The STInt Intern will experience all aspects of an Operations function essential to drive a leading-edge design team creating AI & vision technology.
