Tell Us About Yourself

My name is Amber Bergin. I am a third year Bachelor of Education student in DCU with a specialism in digital learning. I am a curious learner and I have a passion for exploring different technology and how it can be used to help children to grow and learn in the primary class through purposeful play. I am keenly interested in the STInt programme as I believe it will offer invaluable practical, hands-on experiences that I can directly apply in the classroom. This programme provides a unique opportunity for me to further develop my teaching skills, while also gaining more knowledge on STEM through working and collaborating with industry professionals. I hope to meet new people and engage in an experience that can contribute to my personal growth, while simultaneously broadening my understanding of STEM to help me to deliver engaging and effective lessons to my students.
