Aisling Quinn
Hi, I’m Aisling! I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Mathematics in Dublin City University.
I have always had a passion for mathematics and teaching. I want to gain job experience and develop my skillset through working with a company. I would like to further build my confidence by applying my knowledge to practical situations.
During my STInt in AIB I took on a role in service design. This role was part of the enterprise technology service team within the service technology and cloud engineering department. During my time I worked on the service catalogue which is an online catalogue that contains the technical and information systems used within AIB. My main duties involved helping in the online catalogue change request process, working through the online management mailbox as well as the updating and publication of the catalogue. It is through this internship that I have gained invaluable knowledge.
At AIB, we understand that the world of banking is changing, and new technology is making that happen. Our technology is at the centre of our ambition to be the leading digital bank and we want to be recognised as having the best technology function of any bank in Europe.
Our teams work hard to drive the engine of AIB. They deliver change that is customer focused and helping us achieve our ambition of becoming a leading consumer brand. We are evolving our technology so our customers can engage with us in ways and at times that suit them.
