Through my internship, I made connections and collaborated with others. I gained an insight into STEM roles and the importance they have for our future, and our role as teachers to support and build these skills in the youth of today.

Our STInt interns are working on making coding approachable to kids. They are learning to code in several languages and applying these 21st century learning skills to their “MoviKids” Project. The MoviKids project is essentially a platform of communication with co-workers which aims to engage employees’ children in STEAM fun and learning activities. This is in direct response to the current macro environment with many employees being required to directly care for their children while simultaneously working from home.
