My name is Laura! I am a secondary school Biology Teacher, from Dublin. I graduated from my Professional Masters in Education from Dublin City University in 2022, previous to that I studied zoology in Trinity College Dublin. I feel that the STInt programme is a great opportunity to broaden your understanding of Science, and I am excited to develop knowledge to use in the classroom.
The STEM Teacher Internship Programme offers incredible opportunity to broaden and deepen your understanding of Science. As a Biology teacher with a background in Zoology, I have a specific expertise when it comes to the Irish Science and Biology course, but through engaging with this programme I hope to develop more understanding of sciences place in society, particularly pertaining to Physics and Technology.
