Hi there, I’m Katie! I’m from Wexford and have been living in Dublin now for nearly 4 years. I am due to graduate this coming summer with a degree in Physical Education and Mathematics. Following this internship I plan on securing a teaching position for September.

I applied for this internship as it provides us with an opportunity we may never have again, depending on our career path. I love education, learning new skills, meeting new people and making new friends. From my research, that is what this internship is all about. I’m excited to immerse myself in the company, excited to work as part of a new team, and work on projects I have never considered before.

I’m excited to have accepted a role at EY for summer 2021. EY is an Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions and Tax company based in Hardcourt Street, Dublin 2. My internship will most likely be done remotely but may move to a hybrid style of working later in the summer – I’d love to go on site and see what it’s like. In the coming weeks I will be assigned a buddy and will learn more about what this internship entails.
