My name is Isabel Mortell. I am a 4th year student studying a Bachelor of Science with Concurrent Education in the University of Limerick. As a final year student I want to gain as much experience before going out to the working world whether it be in the classroom or in industry. I always had a great interest in science even from a young age. Coming from a farming background, I was always exposed to science in some shape or form allowing me have a keen interest in the subject field. I decided to become a teacher as I always enjoyed helping others and seeing positive progress. With this internship, I can inspire my students to select STEM pathways and support their needs due to my experience in industry.
