Dwayne McCaffrey
My name is Dwayne Mc Caffrey, I have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin. I am currently enrolled in a Professional Masters of Education in Dublin City University. My specialist subjects are Mathematics, and Physics. I am teaching a variety of classes in a secondary school in Dublin. These include Mathematics, Engineering, Physics and Science. I have a passion for teaching and look forward to any opportunity that can help improve the classroom experience for my students.
I am passionate about STEM subjects and applications. I have always had an interest in how industry works and how knowledge along with the application of science and engineering can create technology to help better the world.
I wish to learn more to help develop my own personal skills and knowledge, and in turn to help educate and inspire the students in my future classes. I believe having a practical knowledge and first hand experience of applying the skills learned in the classroom will help inspire my students to explore these areas, and to understand the relevance of the topics they are learning in the classroom to real world applications.
