Deeba Javadpour
My name is Deeba, I am studying Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Education in University College Dublin. I am very enthusiastic about the new way which teaching Mathematics is being implemented in Ireland. I am looking forward to learning new skills as a part of the STInt programme and I am excited to bring all these new skills into my classroom practice.
I believe the STEM Teacher Internship programme is an amazing opportunity for me to develop skills which I can practice in my classroom. I think this internship opportunity will give great insight into the applications of Mathematics in industry which will enable me to provide anecdotal context for students. In addition, I have developed analytical and Mathematical skills during my degree and I look forward to applying that in a team setting in industry.
