Conor Connolly
Hi, I’m Conor and I’m from Dublin. I am currently studying for my Professional Masters in Education at Dublin City University. My specialism subject is Geography.
I really wanted to gain some experience in an area separate from my degree where I would be able to transfer my skills while also focusing on my personal professional development.
During my short spell with Accenture I have worked with the responsible business and citizenship team helping with research around climate change, sustainability, the environment. I have received great exposure to the diversity of the teams projects and some of the external programmes offered by Accenture. I also wrote an article on the planetary boundaries in regards to climate change which tied in nicely with the beach cleans organised within the team and also for the other interns. Observing the Leaders of Tomorrow program I have seen the projects which other interns have worked on which include solutions to problem statements and innovative ways to solve them including technological and societal issues.
